The Gambia was such an amazing experience which is deserving and humbling for many. Deserving as we should all experience and enjoy the motherland and why not the smiling coast (it really is).... humbling to see the love that they have over there and their welcoming spirit, no matter their circumstances (an attitude that should be adopted worldwide).
Helping and witnessing these young souls blossom through creativity is beautiful as they are so eager to be involved and embrace all teachings.

My trip to Ojobi, Ghana with Mek Ah Step was my first experience volunteering abroad and was both rewarding and eye-opening. It strengthened my adaptability, leadership, and engagement skills while increasing my awareness of global inequalities and development challenges. Leading and designing the sports programme, including boxing fitness sessions, allowed me to deliver engaging and inclusive activities for a larger group than anticipated. I would like to thank Haylee Venus for organising a well-structured programme where I felt safe and supported throughout. The programme successfully fostered international and community engagement and has strengthened my confidence in participation, leading and delivering inclusive sessions.

Absolutely amazing and it was beautiful to be in a space, where we pour into the youth. Seeing their confidence grow within themselves is priceless.
